I always recommend that you find a reputable health specialist to get proper tests done as so  many people assume that they have candida and put themselves through the anti candida diet needlessly as they actually have a different health issue.  I dont want that to happen to you!

If you want to read more about the different ways of testing for candida please go to http://www.beatcandidayeastinfections.com/candida-yeast-tests.htm and scroll down.  I discuss muscle testing (kinesiology), the candida spit test, vega testing, scientific lab testing and the candida questionnaire.

Personally I’ve used kinesiology and the questionnaire as I did not have access to lab testing.

If you know of any candida testing methods that I’ve missed out then let me know!

I’ve had CFS for several years and have suspected candida since learning about it and also have a lot of the symptoms.
I did the spit test a few years back and it did validate that candida could be a problem in me, but more recently I had the candida anti-body blood test (IgG IgA) and it came back all clear. This test is supposed to confirm present infection and also past infection but it was close to zero for both (meaning I didn’t have the antibodies for it, nor did in the past).
I do also still have a white coating on my tongue so am still unsure if I ever had it/have it. I wonder if you can still have it but if you have a compromised immune system you don’t produce the anti-bodies for it?
